Loss Reporting for Personal Checks

    The client shall fill in an Application Form for the Loss Reporting and Stop-payment by presenting his valid credentials and submit it to the bank that opens the checking account. The bank confirms that the lost check has not been cashed before handling the loss reporting.      

　　应凭本人有效身份证明填写挂失止付申请书交支票开户行，支票开户行查明挂失支票确未付款后受理挂失。    

　　According to the provisions of the “Law on Negotiable Instruments”, the loss reporter shall also handle the related procedures with the people's court at the place of the paying bank for loss reporting. For the check having been reported loss, the loss reporting shall not be called off.      

　　根据《票据法》的要求，挂失人还应到挂失付款地人民法院办理有关手续。支票挂失后不能再办理解除挂失手续。
