　　sth. never ends“……永远不会结束”

　　我们经常可以在歌曲或电影中听到这样的词句，love never ends, friendship never ends, dream never ends，可见，这是个好用又实用的句型，今天我们就来掌握它。

　　大家也许发现了，用在never ends之前的通常都是抽象名词，因为只有抽象的精神上的东西是永远不灭的嘛！而且，抽象名词没有复数，所以never后面的end要加s.当然，如果前面的主语变了，比如变成Our dreams，那后面也要相应地变成never end.而且，end的形态也要根据时态发生变化，比如：

　　They say that time mends a broken heart and true love never ends, but if true love never ended then time wouldn't have to mend.
　　人们说时间可以修补受伤的心，真爱永远不死，但如果爱真的永不会消失，为什么还要靠时间去修补呢？
