　　The survey of 5,000 women was carried out by New Woman magazine.

　　"When it comes to the most beautiful women of all time, head-turning, full-on glamour wins the day," said New Woman editor Helen Johnston.

　　"The women who top this list all possess classic, timeless beauty and they know how to show it off to the best effect."

　　Victoria Beckham: Top 50 spot Victoria Beckham and Wayne Rooney's girlfriend Coleen McLoughlin won places in the list.

　　Former Spice Girl Victoria came 49th in the list while big-spending Coleen managed 92nd place.

　　Modern-day Hollywood stars in the top 10 were Angelina Jolie, Catherine Zeta Jones, Halle Berry and Scarlett Johansson.

　　The late Diana, Princess of Wales was in eighth place.

　　Supermodel Kate Moss just missed out on the top 10. Sienna Miller was 26th and Keira Knightley 35th.

　　Other British stars in the list include Nigella Lawson, Joan Collins, Rachel Weisz, Charlotte Church and Carol Vorderman.

　　Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton is in 77th place.
