Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him， and wept over his face， and said， O my father， my father， the chariot of Israel， and the horsemen thereof.

　　13：15 以利沙对他说，你取弓箭来。王就取了弓箭来。

　　And Elisha said unto him， Take bow and arrows. And he took unto him bow and arrows.

　　13：16 又对以色列王说，你用手拿弓。王就用手拿弓。以利沙按手在王的手上，And he said to the king of Israel， Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it： and Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands.

　　13：17 说，你开朝东的窗户。他就开了。以利沙说，射箭吧。他就射箭。以利沙说，这是耶和华的得胜箭，就是战胜亚兰人的箭。因为你必在亚弗攻打亚兰人，直到灭尽他们。

　　And he said， Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said， Shoot. And he shot. And he said， The arrow of the LORD's deliverance， and the arrow of deliverance from Syria： for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek， till thou have consumed them.

　　13：18 以利沙又说，取几枝箭来。他就取了来。以利沙说，打地吧。他打了三次，便止住了。

　　And he said， Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel， Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice， and stayed.

　　13：19 神人向他发怒，说，应当击打五六次，就能攻打亚兰人直到灭尽。现在只能打败亚兰人三次。

　　And the man of God was wroth with him， and said， Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times； then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it： whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.

　　13：20 以利沙死了，人将他葬埋。到了新年，有一群摩押人犯境，And Elisha died， and they buried him. And the bands of the Moabites invaded the land at the coming in of the year.

　　13：21 有人正葬死人，忽然看见一群人，就把死人抛在以利沙的坟墓里，一碰着以利沙的骸骨，死人就复活，站起来了。

　　And it came to pass， as they were burying a man， that， behold， they spied a band of men； and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha： and when the man was let down， and touched the bones of Elisha， he revived， and stood up on his feet.

　　13：22 约哈斯年间，亚兰王哈薛屡次欺压以色列人。

　　But Hazael king of Syria oppressed Israel all the days of Jehoahaz.

　　13：23 耶和华却因与亚伯拉罕，以撒，雅各所立的约，仍施恩给以色列人，怜恤他们，眷顾他们，不肯灭尽他们，尚未赶逐他们离开自己面前。

　　And the LORD was gracious unto them， and had compassion on them， and had respect unto them， because of his covenant with Abraham， Isaac， and Jacob， and would not destroy them， neither cast he them from his presence as yet.

　　13：24 亚兰王哈薛死了，他儿子便哈达接续他作王。

　　So Hazael king of Syria died； and Benhadad his son reigned in his stead.

　　13：25 从前哈薛和约阿施的父亲约哈斯争战，攻取了些城邑，现在约哈斯的儿子约阿施三次打败哈薛的儿子便哈达，就收回了以色列的城邑。

　　And Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz took again out of the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael the cities， which he had taken out of the hand of Jehoahaz his father by war. Three times did Joash beat him， and recovered the cities of Israel.
