4：7 他们进房子的时候，伊施波设正在卧房里躺在床上，他们将他杀死，割了他的首级，拿着首级在亚拉巴走了一夜，For when they came into the house， he lay on his bed in his bedchamber， and they smote him， and slew him， and beheaded him， and took his head， and gat them away through the plain all night.

　　4：8 将伊施波设的首级拿到希伯仑见大卫王，说，王的仇敌扫罗曾寻索王的性命。看哪，这是他儿子伊施波设的首级。耶和华今日为我主我王在扫罗和他后裔的身上报了仇。

　　And they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto David to Hebron， and said to the king， Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul thine enemy， which sought thy life； and the LORD hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul， and of his seed.

　　4：9 大卫对比录人临门的儿子利甲和他兄弟巴拿说，我指着救我性命脱离一切苦难，永生的耶和华起誓，And David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother， the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite， and said unto them， As the LORD liveth， who hath redeemed my soul out of all adversity，

　　4：10 从前有人报告我说，扫罗死了，他自以为报好消息。我就拿住他，将他杀在洗革拉，这就作了他报消息的赏赐。

　　When one told me， saying， Behold， Saul is dead， thinking to have brought good tidings， I took hold of him， and slew him in Ziklag， who thought that I would have given him a reward for his tidings：

　　4：11 何况恶人将义人杀在他的床上，我岂不向你们讨流他血的罪，从世上除灭你们呢。

　　How much more， when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house upon his bed？ shall I not therefore now require his blood of your hand， and take you away from the earth？

　　4：12 于是大卫吩咐少年人将他们杀了，砍断他们的手脚，挂在希伯仑的池旁，却将伊施波设的首级葬在希伯仑押尼珥的坟墓里。

　　And David commanded his young men， and they slew them， and cut off their hands and their feet， and hanged them up over the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ishbosheth， and buried it in the sepulchre of Abner in Hebron.
