　　identify是“指认”。 介绍自己时可以说：

　　Let me identify myself. （让我告诉你我的身份。）

　　也可以说： Let me introduce myself. （让我自我介绍一下。）

　　identify着重强调某人的身份或头衔，而introduce则偏重于一般情况的介绍。

　　8.something like意思为“比如像……”。常常用在列举事例时用，相当于for instance. She looks something like that new movie star. 她看上去有点像那个新的电影明星。

　　9. look forward to盼望，期望

　　to是介词，后面要跟名词或动名词，表示对什么的期望。

　　如： I look forward to your visit next week.

　　我期待着你下周来访。
